Brian began working with pastels while attending the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design where he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1990. Since then, he has concentrated on pastel paintings of landscapes as well as still lifes and portraits. He currently resides in Palatine, Illinois, with his wife and two children.
